How We Can Help You Better Serve Your Existing Customers

Networks Built To Scale

High-Capacity Data Networks with maximum range and coverage, built to scale.

Affordable & Accessible

Investment in our networks cost as little as 1/10 to 1/3 of traditional infrastructure.

Low Maintenance

Straightforward deployability and maintenance that doesn’t sacrifice the performance you expect.

Broadband Internet Access for Unserved and Underserved Areas

Mage Networks can help you provide Internet access to customers in your area of coverage that you may not have the ability to reach with current technology due to terrain or a desire to expand beyond existing infrastructure.

In order to design the network, the ISP must provide:

The areas it wishes to cover in the form of a kml file from Google Earth or a GPS device. Please do not send a screen capture, save the kmz or kml file to disk and send us the file.

The location of access to Internet bandwidth. This could be a central office, a nearby tower, a fibre point-of-presence (POP) or any other location that the ISP has identified as being capable of supplying the required capacity to provide the service.

The required service level intended per customer, as well as the over-subscription rate that they intend to apply.

If available, the location of assets such as homes, buildings, towers, lamp posts, telephone and power poles which can be used to deploy the Data Pipeline relays.

Network Design:

Mage Networks uses the provided information to complete a design of MagiNet™ for the ISP. We identify the number and type of units to be provided as well as the locations where relays need to be deployed. We then provide a price list for the equipment needed to be deployed.

Training & Deployment

Mage Networks provides training to the ISP network designers, network managers and installers on how to design the network, configure the devices and deploy the Data Pipelines to reach the areas of interest. Securing sites and actual installation of the units is the responsibility of the ISP. Mage Networks provides all support needed to ensure that the network performs as designed.

Customer Acquisition

The technology’s quick deployment allows for compelling campaigns, allowing ISPs to offer customers same-day hook-ups into residential homes if the ISP so chooses, and certainly same-week. Once the Data Pipelines are deployed, the ISP can run a targeted marketing campaign to generate awareness among customers in the new network area.

Outdoor Private WiFi

In this case, the customer is the owner of a larger property or enterprise (university, company, farm, hospital, typically with multiple buildings and areas of activity.) interested in providing WiFi access in outdoor locations that are not currently covered by their inside broadband.

In order for Mage to design the network, the owner must provide:

The areas it wishes to cover in the form of a kml file from Google Earth or a GPS device.

The location of access to the Internet.

Wireless Networks Must Be Evaluated On Five Criteria:

Municipal WiFi

In this case, the customer is a municipality wishing to provide free or paid ubiquitous WiFi access for their downtown core or beyond.

In order for Mage to design the network, the municipality should provide the following requirements:

The areas it wishes to cover in the form of a kml file from Google Earth or a GPS device.

The location of access to the Internet.

The expected numbers of people to use the service.

The location of assets such as homes, buildings, towers, lamp posts, telephone and power poles which can be used to deploy the MagiNodes™ and MagiPoints™.

What Makes Us Different?

Mage’s solution is made up of hardware and proprietary firmware. These products are sold as part of a network solution called MagiNet™, and the components you require will vary based on our network design for your specific terrain, coverage and access points.

MagiNet by Mage Networks

The overall network formed by the hardware and firmware of Mage, that seamlessly uses wireless and wired connections to create wireless coverage over, under, and around any sized area without degradation in speed or consistency.

MagiLink by Mage Networks

The proprietary firmware at the heart of MagiNet™

MagiLink by Mage Networks

The wireless unit consisting of commercial off-the-shelf hardware flashed with MagiLink™. MagiNodes™ form the Data Pipelines, connect houses and buildings to the MagiNet™ and act as relays.

MagiPoint by Mage Networks

A specialized type of MagiNode™ containing two wireless devices. One device provides WiFi access and the other connects to the MagiNet™.
